As a major winter storm bore down on Metro East in December 2022, KMOV reporter David Amelotti went out to find the crews preparing to keep roads and properties safe. He found Lawn-Mex Inc.
Jeff Villavicencio and his team were already loading pallets of calcium chloride and salt, hooking up seven plows of various sizes, and mapping their routes across Swansea, Fairview Heights, O'Fallon, and Belleville — all before the first flake fell.
